I'm a Maryland-based creative and strategic event designer with a background in community engagement. I've led multi-day conferences, produced large-scale galas, and designed experiences for 300+ attendees. I hold the Special Event Design Certificate from the PCMA Event Leadership Institute. I started Curated By Alecia Marie because intentional experiences change things. I've seen it happen.

Most event planners start with a checklist. I start with a question: when the event is over and the room goes dark, what do you want your attendees to carry with them? That answer becomes the north star for every vendor I choose, every transition I design, and every moment I build into the arc of your event. Nothing is accidental. Everything is curated.
How I work
Four stages. One throughline.
I start with your mission and the feeling you're after. Before a vendor is sourced or a timeline is built, I understand why this event matters.
I map every touchpoint in the attendee arc: arrival, opening, programming, close, and follow-up. The event feels intentional from start to finish.
Vendors, logistics, timelines, run-of-show. I handle the complexity so you can be fully present in the room, not managing from the back.
I'm there. Calm, prepared, and on it. My presence communicates that everything is handled. Because it is.

From the first question to the final walkthrough.
Full strategic design and planning. I start with how you want your people to feel, then design every touchpoint backward from there: the mission, the arc, the vendors, the run-of-show.
On-Site Coordination
You're present in the room. I'm handling everything else.
Day-of and on-site execution of a planned event. Calm, prepared, and on it, so you're never managing logistics from the back.
Fractional Event Strategy
Ongoing strategic partnership, month to month.
